Closing the Gender Gap to Razor Thin

Okay, stay with me. I am proposing that if women stopped shaving their legs, their underarms, stopped tweezing, and all hair maintenance in between, we can alleviate the pain of that gender gap in pay. Razors for women are already 11% more expensive than men’s razors and somehow men’s razors have been upgraded to motors while women are still shaving their bodies manually. So not only do women have to pay more to shave, but we also have to do more work?

Now, more work usually means more time. Women need to spend more time shaving their legs, armpits, and arms, at times, while men don’t even need to shave if they don’t want to. If a man sports a beard, he if burley and somehow a hot lumberjack. If I sport my legs the way they look after six weeks, people will think I’m wild and butch. Okay. So now I’ve paid more to shave, done more work, and if I ever want to slack I need to cover up or be shamed? If men only knew how good they had it…

Maintenance for eye brows and lips are additional time, energy, and cost that is not necessary for the male species and none of these upkeeps are cheap. Nail maintenance and upkeep can be an additional cost and drain of your time and energy as well. Only gay men and a select few hetero dudes are even trying to match our ladies, but these industries would essentially crumble if women collectively stopped caring and investing in our bodily hair and nails. We need to flip the scrip and make a blue tax.

Yes, an actual blue tax -- expecting to pay for dinner is not a tax, and rather the fee that should have been a tax. Men should be required to do all of these things. The only way to balance our society out with the financial discrepancy between the sexes is to flip the table! Women will be hairy and burley and slightly disheveled, but still hot and clean because we are women. Men will be kept, pretty, and smooth which will require them to be busier and spend more, all while looking even more attractive. Be the beautiful economic contributors we know you can be! This is an ode to metrosexual men and hairy, bushly women.

And just to be clear, the lesbians are leading this movement! The reason our lady gays are getting ahead and competing with the white man is because we are beating them at their own game! I ask and encourage all ladies to join us, and all forward-thinking men to step up and start contributing to the society in more ways than one!
